Your empty packaging has more to say.

Recircle your packaging. Continue the story.

Recycle

In New Zealand, only 28% of our total waste is recycled, with the rest ending up in landfill. This rate is comparatively low when contrasted with nations like Germany, Austria, and Wales, which achieve recycling rates exceeding 50%. (RNZ)

Recircle

100% of packaging dropped into our smart-bins gets recircled and turned into new packaging. Because we believe that as businesses, what we create and put onto this earth should be given a life beyond the first use.

Inside the circle

  • Our Smart Bins are extremely easy to use. First you need to find your closest one (see our locations). Then all you need to do is scan your product barcode, wait for the green light and place it in the bin. Read more here.

  • We have a number of Smart Bins around the country. See our locations for a full list.

  • At the moment, we can only accept products from our listed partners. Our aim is for more and more businesses across the country to join our mission, so that you can recircle a long list of products at our Smart Bins. If you want to stay up to date with information about new partners joining Recircle, sign up to our mailing list at the bottom of this website.

  • Collected packaging will be taken to our facility and either washed for reuse, or turned into a new bottle, here in NZ.
